usage of any of the the "Kans." overprints, predating the official first day by seventeen days and for some reason these are the only three values used on this date, the other values not used until April 16th out of Colby, Kansas, sent by special
delivery and signed by the Newton Postmaster, faint gum staining from envelope manufacture, a very fine and exceptionally scarce with all three values on one cover. (Image) |
