minor h.r., centered just a bit to bottom, fine and quite choice; the rarity of this stamp in a mint block of four cannot be overstated, which also happens to be the largest known mint multiple; a thorough review of dozens of past important
auction sales of U.S. stamps reveals just how elusive any mint multiple of the 1870 Six Cent with Grill is, as we found only one other mint block of four offered, and it is in far inferior quality than the pristine block offered here, even the
