277 ogO Indian Feudatory States intriguing collection of about 1,500 different mint or used stamps in an album, there is not only a comprehensive showing of the basic issues, but also many varieties and a few multiples are to be found throughout, with solid representation from all of the states, the Jammu and Kashmir section is particularly noteworthy, with many elusive stamps, but other states are also quite impressive, with both 19th and 20th century stamps, as well as the difficult officials, as usual with collections of this area the condition is a little mixed, most o.g. (if issued thus) and there may be a small number of reprints or questionable material present, however this is certainly one of the most interesting collection lots in this sale, and will be of keen interest to anyone interested in this challenging area; examination is essential to fully appreciate and evaluate. Est. 4,000-5,000

SOLD for $10,500.00
