United States Stamps continued...

1875 Re-Issues of the 1869 Pictorials continued...
Lot Symbol CatNo. Lot Description CV or Estimate
261 O image#127, 10c Yellow re-issue, a marvelous example that is, without question, one of the finest used Ten Cent 1869 Pictorial Re-issues in existence, as this stamp boasts numerous impressive physical attributes, including being incredibly well centered amid large margins all around, plus its color could not be more intense nor its impression more detailed, small unobtrusive segmented cork cancel confined to bottom left corner, extremely fine; a striking gem of immense rarity, as only a tiny fraction of the 1,947 Ten Cent Re-issue stamps that were issued were ever used, and only a minute number of these can possibly exist in this premium condition; 1967 and 1998 PF certificates. (Image) 1,750.00

Closing..May-21, 04:00 PM
