Our 57th Michael E. Aldrich Auction sale will close on Dec. 18th, 2008. This sale will be an exclusively internet auction. There will not be a printed catalog for this sale. The descriptions and lot listing information will be available on our www.aldrichstamps.com website and stamp auction network. In addition we will have live internet bidding for this sale on stamp auction network. The live bidding session will begin at 2:00 pm MST.

This particular sale is exclusively United States stamps. There are some interesting lots in the classic U.S. section highlighted by a #4 with a stitch watermark. There is a full OG 39, several items from the 1869 Issue. There are three very high quality high value Columbians, a nice showing of Washington-Franklins with emphasis on high quality and graded stamps. There is a nice section of Plate Blocks. Several areas from the B.O.B. are present along with a very strong section of U.S. Revenues including many items from the First Issue. In addition there are good sections of Match & Medicines and a Duck section with several Graded and Certified stamps.

Aldrich auction link and then clicking on the photo button where it is present in the lot description. Those interested in viewing the sale should call the office for an appointment. Viewing gets busier closer to the closing date of the sale.

As always we will provide opening bids for this sale on our www.aldrichstamps.com about five days prior to the closing date. We update these opening bids daily and then a couple of times the last two days. We sincerely thank all of those bidders that have supported our sales all these years and we hope to make many new friends with this sale and future sales.
