pairs, multiples, some used singles, pairs or line pairs, numerous coil leaders with one or more mint stamps still attached, and a very interesting range of 83 covers or cards with an array of usages and illustrated advertisements franked by singles,
pairs and even line pairs and multiples, some of the more interesting coil covers include #351 to Sweden, #353 tied to a handsome multicolored illustrated advertising cover, #394 two singles tied to Bell pharmaceutical cover, #395 three singles tied
to registered cover, #396 pair on registered 2c Columbian entire, #413 tied to cover, #452 & 454 pair tied to cover to Foochow, China with their #J45 and J47 pair tied to verso, #458 to Dutch East Indies, #490 on U192 registered censored cover to
Australia forwarded to Papua, #493 to Liechtenstein and some FDC's including #603, 604 and 606 line strip of four, much of the value in the adhesives lies in the line pairs which feature #349, 392 lines strip of four, 395, 396, 413, 443 line strip of
four, 444, 447 line strip of four, 453, 454 and many of the later issues, other highlights include a #445 pair and #C82a miscut imperf. pair and strip of four, the quality is a bit mixed in places with some small faults, some off center and some fake
coils which we did not count, however much is o.g., l.h. or n.h., fine-very fine and very fine, with most of the covers being quite nice; this collection would actually make an excellent nucleus for a specialized collection of this area. |

there are two covers with scarcer Ty. I perforations (#344 and 384), while the others are all with Ty. IV perforations, most of these are with #409, although we note covers with #383 and #384 (two), several of the covers have illustrated corner card
advertising either on front or back, of particular interest are two scarce double weight covers which have been additionally franked with "normal" perforated stamps and such combinations are not often seen, all of the covers are used within

three line pairs, one line strip of four, and a sheet margin block of six, the vast majority with two line "St. Louis/Missouri" precancel, four later issues with three line style "Saint/Louis/Missouri", most stamps are the 1c Green (#343 or #383) or
2c Carmine (#384) with either Ty. I or Ty. IV perforations, other stamps noted as well, the #384 block of six has error horizontal perforations showing at top and in the sheet selvage (three stamps thinned), a couple with small flaws, but overall
