39 |
#39, 90c Blue, an infrequently offered certified
used example of this rarity, being one of the finest centered used #39's
in existence, as this stamp features outstanding centering amid
extravagantly large margins for this typically tightly margined value,
sumptuously rich color and a sharp impression on white paper, very light
and unobtrusive black cancel, couple of barely discernible filled in thin
spots, which in no way detract from this stamp's remarkable extremely fine
appearance; there are only approximately 170 to 180 used #39's that have
been certified as genuine by the Philatelic Foundation, it is highly
unlikely that more than 10% of this number exist with the centering this
stamp possesses; 1997 PF certificate.
