S.G. #2/261, Substantial collection to 1941 on Scott pages, the
Britannia issues are mostly used and generally lacking only the rarities,
although there are some better mint/unused examples to be found, as well as
the 1859 (1p) Blue pin-perf. 12 1/2 (1905 Philatlic Society certificate),
the 1873 5/- is present used, as well as one of the 1p bisects, from 1882
onward the collection is complete and virtually all mint, some varieties
including the 1907 Kingston Relief Fund inverted overprint and no stop
after "1d" in a used block of four, the 19th century is in the usual mixed
condition, later issues are o.g. and mostly fine-very fine (Scott #1/206). |

S.G. #O1-4, 1934 1/2p-6p "OFFICIAL" overprints
cplt., a handsome used set of these rarities, all with portions of Maseru
pmks., the three lower values are each tied to piece, the extremely rare
1/2p Green has a large enough piece to show a portion of one of the
commissioner's office's red oval official seal, colors are fresh and
bright, more common 1p with fine centering, the other three very well
centered being very fine to extremely fine; this issue is among the great
rarities of the British Commonwealth, not normally available mint, it is
believed that less than 25 used sets are recorded with the 1/2p
actually being the rarest; each signed E(nzo) D(iena) and accompanied by
his 1987 certificate (Scott #O1-4; $9,500.00).
