imperforate horizontally, quite well centered, strikingly intense color
and impression, full o.g., very fine and choice. Only one sheet of of
fifty stamps (twenty-five pairs) was ever found of this important classic
era error rarity. Nearly all possess similar centering to this example.
However, unlike a number of known pairs which have heavy gum creases and
other faults, this particular pair is completely fault free and has full
clean original gum. A rare opportunity to acquire one of the finest
pairs of the Eight Cent Trans-Mississippi, imperforate horizontally, in
