#294a, 1c Pan-American, Center Inverted, an
incredibly rare used example of this popular invert, being one of the very
few sound used examples in existence, far better centering than normally
encountered on this, deep luxuriant colors and uncommonly strong
impressions, relatively light machine cancel, very fine and choice; any One
Cent Pan-American Inverted Center is rare, but used examples are especially
difficult and underappreciated, as only a mere 24 used singles have been
certified by the Philatelic Foundation, with this being one of only five
that are sound as well, making this clearly one of the finest used
examples known; an important stamp for the collector of premium quality
used stamps; 1994 and 2003 PF certificates; ex-Mayer. (Image) |
