well centered within large margins although reperforated at right,
sumptuously rich color and a prooflike impression, o.g., extremely fine
appearance.For many years this was considered the finest example of the
Eight Cent Bluish Paper. It was always offered as such when it made its
appearance at auction (including in the Clifford Cole sale in 1988) and was
accompanied by a clear 1974 PF certificate. Only recently has the PF
changed its opinion and noted the reperforation at right. The PSE also
agreed with the current PF opinion.A spectacular appearing example of
