C23b |
#C23b, 6c Dark blue and carmine, horizontal pair,
imperforate vertically, a spectacular horizontal strip of five, being
the entire third row from the discovery sheet (positions 11-15), positions
11 and 12 are fully imperforate vertically, while position 13 has a few
perforations through the bottom right corner, the other stamps with
diagonally shifted vertical perforations, o.g., lightly hinged, faint
traces of erasure of rejection crayon lines as always on this sheet, very
fine; an enormously rare and important air post error, as only three
error pairs and one plate block exist from this sheet, a second sheet
containing three error pairs was discovered and sold by our firm in 2004,
it was purchased and kept intact by a collector, so it is unlikely that it
will be available in the near future; signed Sanabria and accompanied by
interesting collateral information; ex-Floyd.
