#544, 1c Green coil waste, perf. 11, an
especially handsome used example of this rare and notoriously difficult
stamp, being quite well centered within uncharacteristically large margins,
strong rich color on fresh bright paper, lightly cancelled by purple
cancel, which the accompanying certificate states is faded, though this
purple color is notoriously fugitive and the stamp, itself, shows no
evidence of fading, regardless this light colored cancellation is much more
desirable that the pre-cancels that are so frequently found on this stamp,
very fine; a rare completely sound example of the One Cent Green rotary
press sheet waste issue; 2006 PF certificate.
