here is, without question, the finest we have ever had the pleasure to
offer in our auctions, as well as one of the finest in existence, as it
possesses remarkable physical characteristics that are simply not supposed
to exist on a single copy, including being absolutely perfectly centered
within enormously large margins, but just as impressive is the stamp's
incredible overall mint "bloom", with spectacular prooflike color and
impression on bright white paper, fresh clean o.g. with just a faint trace
of hinging, a superb stamp in all respects; long before grading came into
vogue, stamps like this were certainly recognized as beautiful gems, but
now the grading has only reinforced the fact that this is in the finest
