stamp normal, while the right stamp displays this distinctive variety,
extraordinarily well centered, indistinct c.d.s. postmarks, whose one
letter in the cancel just slightly "punctures" each stamp, still very fine;

corner margin CA monogram strip of six, being the complete row from
the lower left pane of Plate 2, each stamp marvelously well centered and
margined, plus its color is wonderfully bright, o.g., stamps n.h., small
hinge reinforcement of some separated perforations in third vertical row at
bottom, small selvage tear in bottom selvage of first stamp, overall a very
fine and handsome example of this rare CA monogram multiple (for a hinged
strip of three and three n.h. singles A$7,125+).

1p Red Kangaroo, as well as 2p and 2½p adhesives from Victoria, all tied to
cover to Boston, Mass. by both "Stock Exchange/24.1.13/Vic." c.d.s. and
boxed "late Fee" handstamps, scarce early usage of both the 1p and 6p, as
well as an unusual combination with Victoria stamps, which were necessary
to make up the appropriate rate (on this early date the only Kangaroo
stamps on issue were the ½p, 1p. 2p and 6p), cover reduced at left and with
typical edge wear, fine and attractive (A$400+).
