portion of the A of the Pirie wmk scraped in to make it appear as #30d
(cv$6000). A nice Fake with 1981 VG Greene cert as bad plus 1980 R.P.S.L.
cert as good but repaired with forged obliteration. NOTE: The repair
probably refers to the reperforation (11-1/2) at B (perf 12 at T). I do
not understand why the cancel is noted a bad, however - it isn't. An
interesting Forgery meant to defraud collectors & it obviously did. (Image) |
