144 DOc imageROYAL ANTI-SEMITIC DECREE 1720 Issued by King George Ludwig (better known as King George I), "Ruler of Great Britain, France, Ireland, Protector of Faith, Duke of Braunschweig & Luneburg" etc. "(sic.). Printed in German, dated Hanover 8 October, 1720. The text has: "In spite of the strict order that forbid entrance of Jewish beggars and due to the fact that we have severe diseases in our region [that is, carried by the Jews], yet - Jews are still begging handout. Therefore, I obey... Within eight days... there will be no more Jewish beggar in Braunschweig & Luneburg. .. No excuses, no exceptions... Those who will be found will be punished & expelled... Those who issue Passports for Jews or give them dwelling - will be fine at 10 Tallers. .. Every Jewish beggar which will be captured, will be fine at 10-14 Tallers, and will be imprisoned in a pit (sic.) just like the worse dogs. .. He will be fed with bread & water... be very well beaten - to make sure that he will never wish to return... Especially Jews are being ordered to follow these orders... ". Incredible mixture of pure hatred, worse Anti-Semitism & superstition, expressed by no other than the King! George I (1660-1727) was the first Hanoverian King of Great Britain). 151 PPc imageNAZI ANTI-SEMITIC PROPAGANDA PPC: 1937, black & white illustrated ppc issued by the "Deutscher National Sozialistischer Verein Vienna" (the German Nazi Union in Vienna). Captioned "CLEAR THE WAY FOR MOTHER GERMANIA”, depicts two German farmers & single laborer, smashing the Jewish throne and facing two wealthy well dressed Jews at right, while a poor German family is watching the scene (upper right). A fence with a sign marked "Entrance forbidden" already broken by the irate Germans, allows them a direct access to the Jewish tycoons. On the ground & underneath the broken thrones are plenty of flyers which read "JUDEN PRESS" (Jewish press & media control) & "JUDEN RAUAS". A 5 line printed text of the Nazi Union is on the back. The bottom caption is in rhyme: "Kleine Cohn has reached his eternal rest, so has his fork!" (i.e. he was a demon. . .). . . Features a huge industrial plant complex along with a railway & a picture of Dr. Ley (Nazi politician, headed the "German Labor Front" Deutsche Arbeitsfront, DAF, 1933-1945) .Part of the long rhymed "song" reads: After a long working day, we bring distress & poverty back home... Patience betrayed brothers...JUDA'S throne is shaking". Obviously a most vicious attempt to blame the German Jewry of being responsible for the rather low wage of German Industrial laborers. DAF was the Nazi National unity worker's organization & the largest organization in the Third Reich.
