1137	* MEXICO. 1572-1821. MEXICO CORREO COLONIAL ESPAÑOL. Importante colección montada en hojas de album con descripciones. Consta de 340 cartas o envueltas todas circuladas durante el período Colonial Español. La colección contiene una carta de 1572 de la Inquisición, dos cartas 1628-30 del Virrey Rodrigo Pecheco y Osorio, además contiene el conjunto más importante jamás reunido de cartas de los CORREOS MAYORES (1750-1765) y también el conjunto más importante de cartas CERTIFICADAS con un total de 20 y 17 cartas respectivamente, también la única carta conocida con marca del Correo de la Compañía de Jesús (1763). La colección está ordenada según las antiguas Intendencias, destacando además de las citadas anteriormente, tres cartas de TEXAS (Avasolo de Coit, Bahía y Bexar), una carta de CALIFORNIA (Fortín de San Diego 1816), un frente de carta con la marca de San Juan de Ulua (1822), último reducto Español en México, tres cartas con las marcas VIVA FERNANDO VII (Guadalajara, Linares y Tulancinco) y también la única carta con marca conocida del Ejército Insurrecto (carta del General Villarín 1812). En la colección hay más de 60 marcas inéditas y no reseñadas y más de un centenar de piezas únicas. Conjunto excepcional procedente de la Colección de Fernando Camino (Ganadora de 12 grandes oros durante los años 1975-1990), mejorada posteriormente por Isaac Backal con la incorporación de multitud de piezas, muchas de ellas procedentes de las antiguas colecciones de J.
