We are delighted to be the official auctioneer for Chicagopex 2008 Stamp
Exhibition. The show and auction are being held at the Sheraton Chicago Northwest
in Arlington Heights, Illinois on November 21-23 (Friday-Sunday). This sale
has over 2,900 lots of USA and Foreign singles, covers, collections & box lots.

Session I begins Friday evening at 6:15 pm, as the show closes and offers
USA Singles from the Paul Mitchell Collection, well over $1 million in
estimates. Many scarce and rare issues abound. Check it out - you will be

Session II takes place Saturday at 12 noon, beginning with a fresh selection
of United States EFOs, Plate blocks, Revenues and Proofs & Essays. There is
a fabulous Errors section, offering virtually every modern imperforate and
missing-color issue, including the rare CIA Invert - only 95 copies exist!
And, each of the 275 error lots has a recent certificate.
Also, there are some incredible original vintage proof books from the
American Bank Note Company. Definitely check out the 1901 leather
Presentation Proof Book, the 1869 Pictorials leather Proof Book, and 1873
Officials, Roosevelt Small Die Proofs.
The session continues with 300 lots of Possessions, British and Foreign
singles. The Italian areas are particularly strong with many thousand-dollar
type stamps - all with Diena certs.
Session III starts Sunday at 12 noon, with hundreds of covers, box & collection
lots. There is the lovely Robert C. Anderson Postal History collection, featuring
a good representation of covers from the Canal Zone, Danish West Indies,
Hawaii, Philippines and Puerto Rico. What's interesting about this collection
are all the difficult to find moderately priced covers. There are literally
hundreds of different small town cancels and usages.

Our 77th ABC Sale consists of 794 lots of U.S. and Worldwide collections,
accumulations and balance lots of stamps and covers. There are lots with
values ranging from $100 to $25,000 each.
There are 305 lots of U.S. and Possessions collections, accumulations and
balance lots in the sale. The sale starts off with 19 lots of covers. There
are 297 general U.S. lots, 13 lots of precancels, there is an extensive
section of U.S. face value or postage lots with 115 different face or
postage lots being offered; there are 47 lots of various B.O.B. material, a
very nice section of Revenues and U.S. possessions. There are several lots
in the U.S. sections that have values in excess of $2,500.00 and there are
over 10 lots that catalog over $20,000 each.
The Worldwide section which includes individual countries from A-Z have 305
lots in the sale. Some of the highlights in the section include: several
Australia and States collections, there is one Australian States lot that
