letters from 1820-50 period, all stampless and most sent thru the mails,
about half are 1840's routine domestic mail (mainly from New York City),
the other half considerably more interesting with forwarder handstamps,
"Ship" markings, interesting origins and many letter transcripts, a
worthwhile group representing Arthur White's "work in progress" |
