MONTEZUMA. Brownish
straigtline handstamp on folded cover from Philadelphia to London, endorsed
"pr. Montezuma", red "15 JY 1824" receiving backstamp and
"Liverpool/Ship Letter" handstamp, minor wear, Very Fine, the origin can be
determined because the Montezuma cleared Philadelphia on June 19,
arriving at Liverpool on July 13, the "Montezuma" handstamp is very rare
and was used by Thomas Cope & Sons to identify conveying the vessel, with
