repair at top rightFINE APPEARANCE. A RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 4-CENT BLUE
KERR ISSUE ON OLD PAPER. ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL MEDICINE
STAMPS. Only 7 are recorded in the Aldrich census. Of these only 3 are
reported as sound. The Joyce sale contained an example with repaired tears
which realized $5,500 in 1991 against the then-current catalogue value of
$3,000. This is the first example we have offered since keeping
