Two, tied by purple targets, matching "Waikane, Oahu, Au 10"
double-line circular datestamp (Ty. 255.01, Rarity 1RRR) on cover to
Honolulu with Aug. 11, 1899 receiving datestamp, minor toning and edgewear,
otherwise Very Fine, Gregory reports eight strikes of this town postmark,
but it is uncertain how many are known on cover, this cover realized $2,000
hammer in the Apr. 2006 Rumsey sale of the Fitzpatrick collection, which
suggests covers are extremely rare
