margins for this difficult issueEXTREMELY FINE GEM. THIS MAY WELL BE
THE FINEST EXAMPLE OF THE 1923 2-CENT CARMINE PERF 11 ROTARY WASTE ISSUE IN
EXISTENCE. THIS STAMP HAS BEEN AWARDED THE GRADE OF SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E.,
WHICH IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED TO DATE. THIS STAMP STANDS ALONE AT THE

Vertically (734a). The unique bottom plate no. 21174 block of eight,
rich color, wide margins, left stamps defective where torn and expertly
restoredVERY FINE APPEARANCE. THIS IS THE ONLY RECORDED PLATE BLOCK
OF THE 5-CENT KOSCIUSZKO WITHOUT VERTICAL PERFORATIONS. ONE OF THE MOST
DESIRABLE ERROR MULTIPLES OF THE FARLEY ADMINISTRATION. Datz states
that one or two sheets are known, but this is the only plate block
recorded. The Scott Catalogue price is based on the example offered here,
in the only condition in which it exists.
