transfer, 1c recut twice at bottom and once at top, margins to in,
cancelled by grids and tied by large red "New Orleans La. Nov. 1" circular
datestamp on 1855 folded letter from France to Tepic, Mexico,
datelined "Bordeaux September 25th 1855", neat "Vera Cruz 4 Novbre
1855" oval handstamp and "4" due marking, fresh and Fine usage carried
outside of the mails to New Orleans
