Star Office Panama.
Unusual red oval handstamp with starburst at center on blue folded letter
datelined "David Decr. 5th 1852" from John Whiting to A. W. Thompson
in Philadelphia, bold "Steamship 20 cts." in circle handstamp, letter
mentions arrival of Mr. Adams and arrangements for roadcutters, light
vertical file folds, tiny tear at top, few extraneous ink spots at top
left, still Very Fine, scarce usage from the third-largest city in Panama,
which is near the Costa Rica border, with the rare "Star Office Panama"
