Tyler" on folded letter sheet (tear, etc.), addressed but no date or postal markings, 1800 "James McHenry War Department" free frank, 1912 Frances Cleveland signed letter, two Franklin D. Roosevelt (one 1930 on Governor of New York stationery, other 1931 on Red Cross Cacheted Cover), Calvin Coolidge cut signature, James A. Farley signed photograph, Harry Truman on 1952 Newspaper Boys FDC, "Satchmo" (Louis Armstrong) on small piece, Herbert Hoover on cacheted -1/2c Washington Bicentennial cover, Dec. 17, 1930 Orville Wright on 27th Anniversary of First Flight at Kitty Hawk, N.C. cover, crude printed picture of Stalin dated Aug. 11, 1941 and possibly signed by him, series of eleven Nixon typewritten letters or notes from 1960-71 (five signed Dick Nixon, five Richard Nixon and one Richard), the one signed "Richard" is Birthday Wishes to his Aunt Edith on White House stationery, two each others on "White House" and "Office Of The Vice-President" stationery, also undated Nixon on Florist's notepad page (probably late 1950's), Andrew Jackson and Martin Van Buren amanuensis signatures on 1830's-1840's Public Land Office partly printed "bills of sale", each for just over 80 acres in Mississippi (framed), two early 1800's Safe Passage documents, rough condition and glued to thick card, lastly a 1817 printed accounting statement of receipts and expenditures for the Custom Office (no autographs), a few of the earlier mentioned items may be autopen and we have adjusted our estimate accordingly, somewhat mixed condition, a very interesting lot nevertheless	E. 2,000-3,000 SOLD for $1,100.00 Will close during Public Auction

Field (laid first successful Atlantic cable), Joseph Pulitzer (publisher), Cyrus H. McCormick (reaper inventor), Richard E. Byrd (Polar explorer), Charles E Duryea (father of the automobile), Charles P. 2037		Checks Signed by Union Civil War Generals. Four different autographs on 1870's to early 1880's checks with 2c Stamped Paper Revenues, incl. Major General Daniel E. Sickles (Feb. 27, 1859, shot and killed Philip Barton Key, son of Francis Scott Key in a jealous rage, pled temporary insanity and was the first defendant to ever be acquitted with this defense, lost a leg at the Battle of Gettysburg), Benjamin F. Butler (commander in capture of New Orleans and military governor of that city, leader in impeachment of Andrew Johnson, Presidential Candidate), C.C. Washburn (U.S. Rep. 1855-61, governor of Wisconsin 1872-74, founder of a milling firm that later became General Mills), William T. Approximately 200 pieces, 1870's to 1920's, numerous cabinet photos, CDV's, albumen prints, etc., highlights incl. large image showing 40 members of a Montana mining crew, group of nine photos recording tornado aftermath in Tenn. ca. 1925, cabinet photo of J.X.
