Most Obed. Servt." and signed, docketed on back, light vertical file folds

VERY FINE. A RARE DOUBLE-SIGNED AUTOGRAPH LETTER AND FREE FRANK FROM GEORGE WASHINGTON.

The folded letter is a two-page folio, so the two signatures could easily be separated. Covers free franked by George Washington as President are marked "President/U.S." and are not signed. (Image)
