2913 ogc Worldwide balance of the early air post stamp and postal history collection formed by Keith A. Wagner, several hundred mint stamps (mostly sets) and about 300 covers neatly laid out in chronological order tracing the history of aerophilately to about 1930, starts with six of Siege of Paris Balloon covers, one of which has a French arrival marking and another was sent to Belgium, from there it contains many experimental flights in the 1909-1915 period, with United States, France, Germany, Great Britain and other countries represented in this time period, many of these have special labels affixed to the covers, from 1918 there is strong value in both mint stamps and flown covers, with the stamps having many elusive items including imperforate and other varieties, covers includes better special flights as well as complete sets and scarcer stamps, this collection is loaded with $50.00-$200.00 items, with some undoubtedly higher, condition is above the norm, with a very large percentage being fine-very fine; an outstanding opportunity to obtain a strong base on which to build an important collection of the early aerophilately.
