frankings, three adversity, one patriotic, two captured Union patriotics,
five military usages, a wonderful variety of towns that include Kelly's
Ford, Parnassus, Gordonsville, Spout Spring, Liberty, Sweet Chalybeate,
Palmyra (with enclosure), Brownsburg, County Line Mills, Garys Store, Blue
Ridge, Chester, Danville (blue c.d.s.), Proctor's Creek, Gravel Hill,
Franklin Depot (blue c.d.s.), Fairfield, Martinsville, Mossing Ford, Old
Church, Black Walnut, Fenn's Store, Mount Jackson, Prospect Hill, Yorktown,
Portsmouth (blue c.d.s.), Mount Crawford, Pleasant Shade (blue c.d.s.),

fitting for the Civil War buff, Non Intervention, while the usual suspects

#1-9, 11-14, Mint and used General Issues collection, complete
representation except for the Ten Cent Frame Line, condition overall much
better than typically encountered on such collection lots, nearly all with
four margins and the few flaws noted are quite minor (the "Ten Cent" Blue
has mild overall toning), the mint stamps, with the exception of one
inexpensive stamp, all have o.g., including the Two Cent Jackson (#3),
mostly fine-very fine. |
