Nov. 30, 1864" c.d.s. alongside on Flag of Venezuela Patriotic cover to New York, embossed "United States Legation Venezuela" seal on back, stamp with s.e. at right and slight soiling, the cover is very fine and quite attractive; this was carried via diplomatic pouch to Philadelphia where it entered the mails, an extremely rare Venezuelan patriotic, with only one other example known.
