707 og 19 image#19, 17c Blue, perforated 12x11 3/4, a spectacular mint example in a condition that is next to impossible to find on any of the perforated 1859 issues due to their normally poor centering, the extraordinary copy offered here is not only perfectly centered top to bottom and side to side, but it also possesses an amazing overall mint "bloom" which stamps of this vintage rarely display, with the most intense color imaginable and an impression that would rival any proof, even its reverse is remarkable, sporting full clean o.g. that has been only very lightly hinged, an extremely fine gem for a world-class collection of Canada; signed several times by recognized experts and accompanied by a 1994 BPA certificate (Unitrade C$2,250.00).
