Daniel F. Kelleher Auctions, LLC Sale - 625

U.S. and Possessions Stamps & Postal History - July 8-9, 2011

Welcome to the Kelleher Summer 2011 Danbury Sale!
We are excited to bring to you the enclosed summer sale with interesting and desirable material.

The contents are quite varied, beginning with excellent postal history selections from famed collections such as Kramer & Hahn but also includes items from many other sources, most of which have been off the marketplace for decades. Included are postal history selections of California and Indianapolis, the latter containing the earliest such marking. The stamp section is quite diverse and contains many items with the desirable combination of quality and rarity. Beginning with a lovely and sound 5cent St. Louis Bear on grayish lilac, a true US rarity, it continues on with a plentiful section of 1851-1857 1c issues and contains a wide range of both classic and 20th century item, including many multiples and plate blocks. Specialized Washington-Franklins from the Georgetown collection and others, helps us to provide material seldom encountered and often overlooked. The Back-of-the-Book section contains a fresh selection of singles and blocks and a particularly scarce selection of Postal Stationery Entires and Cut Squares. We think that all-in-all this will be a most relaxing and enjoyable summer sale.
