EXTREMELY FINE. A GORGEOUS MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE FIRST SPECIAL DELIVERY ISSUE.
With 1991 and 2000 P.F. certificates. With 2004 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90, SMQ $3,500.00) (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE. A STUNNING EXAMPLE OF THE SECOND SPECIAL DELIVERY ISSUE.
This issue was released in 1888 and was the last of the American Large Bank Note issues. Collectors of that series know the challenge of locating Mint Never-Hinged examples in superior grades. Only three examples of No. E2 have received P.S.E. grades higher than 90. In our opinion, this stamp should have made XF-Superb 95.
With 1998 P.F. certificate. With 2004 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90, SMQ $3,500.00) (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A HUGE EXAMPLE OF THE 1893 10-CENT ORANGE SPECIAL DELIVERY ISSUE. A MARVELOUS POSITION PIECE AND A TRUE CONDITION RARITY.
With 1989 and 2000 P.F. certificates. With 2004 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90 Jumbo, SMQ $1,150.00 as 90, $2,400.00 as 95). The P.S.E. Population Report on No. E3 Mint N.H. lists two 90's, one 90J and one 95J. (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE GEM. THE 10-CENT 1894 UNWATERMARKED SPECIAL DELIVERY ISSUE IS A NOTORIOUSLY CHALLENGING ISSUE TO OBTAIN IN THIS SUPERIOR GRADE. THIS IS EASILY ONE OF THE FINEST KNOWN EXAMPLES IN MINT NEVER-HINGED CONDITION.
The 1894 series, being the first printed by the Bureau, encountered many production problems. Most stamps were poorly centered and have small margins.
With 1998 P.F. certificate. With 2004 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95, SMQ $14,900.00). This is one of only two copies to achieve the lofty grade of 95. Only one copy has graded higher -- at 95J -- which was the example in the Cohen collection. (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 1895 WATERMARKED SPECIAL DELIVERY ISSUE. A STAMP OF STUNNING VISUAL APPEAL AND A TRUE CONDITION RARITY.
With 1982 and 1999 P.F. certificates. With 2004 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95, SMQ $1,700.00). This is the highest grade awarded thus far by P.S.E. to any No. E5. (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE. THIS GORGEOUS MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF SCOTT E6 STANDS ALONE AS THE HIGHEST-RATED EXAMPLE CERTIFIED TO DATE BY PROFESSIONAL STAMP EXPERTS.
It is extremely rare to find the 1902 Special Delivery with such large margins. The plate layout placed the stamps closely together. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing rectified this problem with the 1911 printing of Scott No. E8, when they created a new plate on which the stamps were spaced further apart.
With 1984 and 1999 P.F. certificates. With 2004 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90 Jumbo, SMQ $750.00 as 90, $1,450.00 as 95) (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SPECTACULAR STAMP WITH ASTONISHINGLY WIDE MARGINS AND PERFECT CENTERING.
Although not yet graded by P.S.E., we believe this fantastic stamp deserves a Superb 98 Jumbo.
With 1988 and 2000 P.F. certificates (Image)
FRESH AND EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THIS SPECIAL DELIVERY ISSUE. THIS STAMP HAS RECEIVED THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED BY PROFESSIONAL STAMP EXPERTS TO SCOTT E9.
With 1994 P.F. certificate. With 2004 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95, SMQ $1,300.00) (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE. A MAGNIFICENT EXAMPLE OF THE 10-CENT 1914 SPECIAL DELIVERY ISSUE.
With 2001 P.F. certificate (Image)
