REA97 (with "NSBCo. 10-5-17" perforated cancel -- earliest recorded use), REA107a with partial plate number, REA109, REA110 Cutout Only, and REA115, the REA97 and REA109 have large repaired tears, but the others have only minor faults

AN IMPORTANT ASSEMBLY OF THE RARE 1917 MANUSSCRIPT PROVISIONAL SURCHARGES, REPRESENTING ALL OF THE FIVE DIFFERENT STAMPS LISTED IN THE PRIESTER BOOK.

VERY FINE APPEARANCE. THIS IS THE RECORDING COPY AND STILL THE ONLY KNOWN EXAMPLE OF THE ONE-EIGHTH BARREL 1914 SURCHARGED ISSUE WITH "ACT OF 1917" HANDSTAMPED PROVISIONAL SURCHARGE, SCOTT REA117. AN IMPORTANT BEER STAMP RARITY ACQUIRED BY HENRY TOLMAN FROM THE JOYCE COLLECTION AND UNLISTED IN THE 1990 PRIESTER BOOK.
