VERY FINE AND CHOICE. A SCARCE TOP PLATE NUMBER BLOCK OF SIX OF THE 50-CENT 1909 DOUBLE-LINE WATERMARK.
Scott 341 was produced from only one plate, No. 4956, which had plate number blocks at top and bottom. A review using Power Search shows that most top position plate blocks have the selvage shortened to some degree -- this is the only wide top we located in Power Search, and we have only offered one wide bottom (1992 Rarities sale).
