#65c, 3c Rose, imperforate, bottom margin partial imprint and plate "No. 11" block of six of this rare imperforate variety, large margins all around, unused, without gum, with the usual light mottled toning on paper which is found on all examples and is actually characteristic of genuine imperforate examples rather than similar items which are more properly classified as essays or experimental papers, extremely fine; extraordinarily rare as a plate number multiple, Chapin's census records four plate number multiples from plate 11, and only a total of seven plate number blocks in various shades or plate numbers, this being listing #231; 1961 PF certificate; ex-Simon and Chapin.
